ECAC Exhibition, 2020
Dear Emerald City Artists,
This is a reminder that our online art show reception will happen on Saturday, August 1, at 5:00 PM.
I will need images of your artworks no later than Sunday July 19th. But sooner is better for me.
Please follow this format as close as you can. No indenting. No Bolding. No italics. Please make it look just like this but with your info:
“Winter’s Awakening”
By John Doe
18” x 24”
Oil on canvas
$450
Only original works.
Submit up to 4 works.
There is no size restriction. Bring on the big!
RSVP
I have assumed that all members will participate. If you are not going to participate please let me know soon, or no later than July 19.
Here Is How It Will Work
I will create a webpage on our ECAC website for the exhibition. Then at our reception mentioned above (Saturday, August 1, at 5:00 PM) I will send you a link to join our Zoom event and I will guide us through the exhibit on Zoom. We will share a moderated group conversation as we go.
Please have your own beverage and appetizers on hand to enjoy.
Who’s Invited
All of your friends and family are invited to join too. I will also be inviting some current and former non-ECAC students. But of course only ECAC members will be exhibiting.
Before the reception I will send you a link, meeting ID, and password for you to give to those you wish to invite.
Using Zoom
If you are not familiar with participating in a Zoom meeting please let me know soon so I can do a run-through with you before the art opening Zoom event. I use a mac and can help a mac person. If you need help on your pc, I’ll find someone who can help you.
Unfortunately I am not available to give invited guests any technical assistance.
There will not be time for me to offer any technical assistant immediately before, or during the reception. So let’s make sure that wheel is well greased before then.
Critique Session
For ECAC artists only. Soon after the art show opening and at a time to be determined, we will do a group critique session of the works in the show for our ongoing art education. I’ll send you an invite to join the Zoom critique session at that time.
This update is also poster here. Please keep the link handy for future reference.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
