As an artist, I focus on color, balance, contrast, and texture. The process of painting is a life-long practice of how to distill the enjoyment of art. Each new painting provides me with the opportunity to apply aspects that have been successful in the past while challenging me to be open to new ideas.

I sometimes do a series of works on a particular subject or place, and I love to paint the landscape. My goals are simple: to keep it fresh, to continue to learn, and most of all, to find a bit of sanctuary in a world that can otherwise be full of turmoil.
